Eligibility Criteria for OutThink 2025

  • Who can participate?
    OutThink 2025 is open to full-time first-year MBA students (across all specializations) from selected institutes in India.

  • Team Composition:
    The competition allows teams of 3 members. Cross-specialization teams are encouraged, so feel free to team up with people from different backgrounds.

  • What’s not allowed?

    • Part-time, distance learning, and executive MBA students are not eligible.
    • Cross-college teams are not allowed.
    • International students are not eligible to participate.

Competition Structure

OutThink 2025 consists of three exciting stages:

1. MCQ Assessment (Elimination Round)

  • Start Date: 10th February 2025, 12:00 PM IST
  • End Date: 10th February 2025, 08:00 PM IST
  • Format: Teams will face a 30-minute MCQ assessment with questions on general aptitude, sales & marketing, finance, operations, HR, IT & analytics.
  • Eligibility to Proceed: All team members must attempt the assessment, and the team’s average score will determine if they proceed to the next round.

2. Case Launch & Submission

  • Start Date: 12th February 2025, 12:00 PM IST
  • End Date: 23rd February 2025, 11:59 PM IST
  • Task: Shortlisted teams will select one problem statement and create a 2-3 minute video pitch and a 7-8 slide PowerPoint presentation to present their solution. The submission must adhere to the naming convention: Team Name_Case Code.
  • Important: Late submissions will not be considered, so make sure to submit before the deadline!

3. Grand Finale

  • Top 6 Teams: The top six teams from the Case Launch & Submission will be invited to present their solutions to the Senior Leadership of L&T. This is your chance to showcase your innovative ideas to some of the brightest minds in the industry!
