Softius Internet Services is hiring for the role of Frontend Developer Intern!

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with UI/UX designers, backend developers, and other stakeholders to create responsive, user-friendly interfaces.
  • Build and maintain scalable, clean, and reusable codebases for web and mobile applications.
  • Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
  • Implement design systems and ensure consistency across the application.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends in frontend development.
  • Debug and troubleshoot frontend issues effectively.
  • Ensure cross-browser compatibility and responsiveness.
  • Integrate APIs and backend services seamlessly into the frontend.
  • Development:
    • Translate UI/UX designs into functional code using modern web technologies like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
    • Develop reusable components using frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js.
    • Implement responsive designs ensuring seamless user experience on various devices.
  • Collaboration:
    • Work with the backend team to define API requirements and handle integration.
    • Actively participate in code reviews, design discussions, and team meetings.
    • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver updates.
  • Optimization:
    • Ensure performance and speed optimizations for applications.
    • Implement best practices for SEO and accessibility.
  • Testing & Debugging:
    • Write unit tests, perform end-to-end testing, and maintain a robust testing framework.
    • Troubleshoot and fix bugs or issues in a timely manner.
  • Maintenance:
    • Regularly update and refactor code to maintain scalability.
    • Document codebase changes and maintain a clear version control history.

Requirements:

  • Educational Qualifications:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Technical Skills:
    • Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (ES6+).
    • Strong experience with at least one frontend framework/library (React, Angular, Vue.js).
    • Knowledge of state management libraries like Redux, MobX, or Context API.
    • Experience with frontend tooling (Webpack, Babel, npm/yarn).
    • Familiarity with RESTful APIs and JSON.
    • Understanding of CSS preprocessors like SASS or LESS.
    • Experience with version control systems like Git.
    • Familiarity with performance optimization techniques.
  • Soft Skills:
    • Strong problem-solving skills.
    • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
    • Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality user interfaces.
  • Additional Preferences:
    • Experience with testing frameworks like Jest, Mocha, or Cypress.
    • Familiarity with TypeScript.
    • Exposure to UI design tools like Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD.
    • Knowledge of deployment processes and CI/CD pipelines.
    • Familiarity with Progressive Web Apps (PWA) development
